COOK AND PIANIST,
A CROSSMODAL ACT INSPIRED BY FRANZ LISZT, AND HIS ‘PÈLERINAGES’ TO ITALY
Our experience of reality is perceived through a combination of the five senses.
Sometimes, specific sensory stimuli excite our minds, arousing our bodies to generate intellectually challenging emotions, these experiences we call Art.
Today, we see a growing trend of interactions between the arts - disciplines influencing each other to generate new ways of enjoyment. The Play of forces is at work, which, dynamically discharged, is giving rise to a movement; a new artform is emerging in multisensory designed experiences.
On September 13th 2014, a Cook and a Pianist will present an experiential Concert Dinner. Franz Liszt’s Années de pèlerinage, IIè Année, Italie, will be performed to a theatrical tasting menu in a Crossmodal Act - inspired by the Italian Futurists, Wagner's ideal of Gesamtkunstwerk, and Experience Psychology.
